Diana Gamez (Mother of  Alan (Patient)):  Hello, Good afternoon my name is Diana Gamez. I am here to tell you my story, to give you my testimony of the help that Doctor Canales gave me.

It all began around 13 years ago, my son suffered a disease, Guillain Barre Syndrome. By that time, after so much medical treatment, and being hospitalized, he was 4 years old, now he is 17 years old. After so many doctors, after visiting so many Hospitals, they never detected his disease, they didn't even got the correct study. We where at the Hospital in El Paso, we are Mexicans, out of despair that we didn't receive any help here in Juarez, we went to El Paso, and yes, we were welcomed at Thomason Hospital, and he was hospitalized around two weeks or one week I don't remember very well, thousands, thousands, and thousands of studies but they couldn't detect his disease. It was because of some acquaintances, some acquaintances of the Father of my Son, some friends rather, I say that they are little angels, they helped us and talked to us about Doctor Canales, that he was a very good doctor and to me a Doctor that has a gift, the true gift. Then they took us to see him to El Paso because at the Hospital they would not accept us anymore, that they did not know what he had, then they took us to Doctor Canales, and yes, effectively Doctor Canales saw him, and whithin 5 minutes he gave me 2 probable diagnostics about my Son's condition.

He gave me the specific medical study needed in order to detect my Son's disease, then I took him to Juarez again, I brought him again to get the specific medical study that the Doctor ordered. Then I came back with the results, I came back to see Doctor Canales, and yes, effectively it was the diagnostic that he gave me before, he gave me the exact diagnostic after we where at the Hospital for 2 weeks and and not have any success with my Son's disease, he was the one that exactly detected the disease.

Thanks to the doctor that detected the disease, he also helped us a lot, because we were mexicans and the kid definitely needed to be hospitalized because his life was at risk, and the Doctor didnt want to risk his life by bringing him back to Juarez again, therefore he needed to be hospitalized inmediately, he told me " wait here a little bit" he went to the back, took his phone, and started calling Thomason Hospital, he was talking and asking someone to please accept the kid at the Hospital because it was an emergency, I repeat that we are mexicans, therefore it was because of him that we were accepted at the Hospital again, and yes, we immediately where in intensive care, and thanks to him that had the right diagnostic, and then he took us with a neuropediatrician, and thanks to God Alan, my Son, is okay right now.
